2009 is here. Each year seems to be surpassing the speed of the former. I looked back at 2008 and thought about the good and bad things that affected me. It turns out, I can't really remember anything bad. Even my car accident din cross my mind till I went to have a look at my previous posts. So yes, the worst thing that happened last year was the accident. It sucked and it cost me a bomb.
I decided to list the memorable stuff/major effect in life down:
1)Shanghai Blues - This is indeed the most memorable + enjoyable journey. The people, the work. Theres so much passion, love, fun and satisfaction.
2) Wedding Notifications for 2009 of my great buddies(in the order of dates I was informed):
a) Taitai
b) Preeya
c) Rynn
d) Bell
I still do have 6 weddings to attend! Please let there be no more. I cannot afford any additional ang paos.
3) My new job. From Theatre to TV - I heart Theatre but I hunger for my dream. I longed to work for TV and I am there now. This move opened my eyes real wide. Work is complicated. Less love felt More lessons learnt.
4) Australia Trip - Its a simple, relax and happy one.
5) Jasmine and Del's surprise V Day pressie - I was very touched for their efforts.
6) The car accident - I still curse the reckless driver.
I decided to go through a quiet countdown this year. I was switching from channel to channel to watch the different celebrations and there's this sms screen that people text in to. Every greeting was boring, all except for one that caught my eye. It said "I am going to make 2009 my best year." Oh yes. Thats the best NY resolution I have seen. There and then I decided I AM going to make 2009 my best year no matter what happens!
I have made quite a few new frens in 2008, but i realised due to my laziness, I am losing frens as well. I am going to pull them back one by one. I have lots of catching up to do. And I will get to know more new frens too! A new attitude at work is much needed as well.
2009! You ARE going to be my best year! I will make sure of that.
Happy New Year to ALL!
Lots of luv,
Jo
