A Day of Royalty

Last Sunday, a really generous colleague of mine treated Mich n Me to a Spa & Wellness Centre in Paragon. Well, when Jenn (Mrs Generous) first told me that we're going for Spa, I expected something good. But Wow! NotTHIS good.

The place is huge, 22000 sq feet if I dun remember wrongly. As 3 of us were all using the same facial specialist (cos Jenn insisted shes the best & she wants no other), we have to take turns and wait for each other. We were each given a locker, a set of bathrobe and night wear made of silk and off we went. The architecture of the place is rather fantastic. Even the shower looks somehow stylish! The jacuzzi has these chairs in it where u can lie on and let the bubbles do the job. Feel damn shiok can! After Jacuzzi, you're suppose to dip urself into this special built ice cold pool to close your pores. Its really icy cold... Brrr..... Then they have the steam room, and the sauna room with TV in it. After that, you can just dump your wet nightie anywhere you want and a new set is provided. Everytime you walk out of the pools, in 5 secs there is someone to dry the floor up with the wiper. So no worries you will slip man. The shower has everything, from shower gel to conditioner, then all sorts of toiletries are provided. From hair dryer to hair mousse, to face toner and even some high class oil for the hair. And man! It doesn't stop here.

Still waiting for your turn?? No worries, step into the lounge. You're served with a spread of buffet snacks. Eat all you want. Thats not all. Theres are ala carte main courses which u can order as many times as you want, and of cos the desserts too. Head to the VIP room, slouch on the leather couches, there are movies and magazines available. ITs your choice. Every few mins waiters will walk in and serve you asking if you need anything. All these while waiting for your turn.

Oh its my turn for some facial. Theres high tech machines and cool masks to make you feel beautiful. After that back to the room to relax.

As we were slacking in the room with our silky bathrobe, I told Mich, "Mich, this is what I call life man..." Oh yeah... This IS life. This IS Free. I literally felt like I was Zhang Ziyi in "The Banquet". I really felt like a Queen on that day.

Thanks Jenn! For this one of a kind experience. I will be there one day. On my own Expense... I must. Its just too good. Way too good..

I'm sure you can see what i mean.
