It's War!
Yes. Open War. Young vs Old.
There was actually no war, but then it began as a silent war.
Eventually, it’s now an open war.
Office politics, it’s everywhere you might say. And I certainly know that too.
But I didn’t know that even temp staffs are not spared.
Let me introduce you to a few people from the Gang of the OLD.
As you can see from the diagram below:
There’s
Queen Bee – Known to be the silent killer, the slippery snake and the woman of many masks. She gets her lackey to do the dirty work. On the surface, nice, friendly and polite. In the back, you should know what. Doesn’t offend anyone face to face. Protects her lackey and knows when to make her move. Kills with bloodless sword. Creepy sia... But in the end, she still has to stay in that position even if she wins this war. I don’t see her getting the chance of promotion. :p lalala…
Lackey – The gossiper. Tells tales, fabricates stories about you if she feels you’re in her way. Very thick-skinned, and thinks she’s somebody cos shes the right-hand woman of the Queen. All she cares about is herself, as long as she finishes her part she doesn’t fucking care if the way she does it affects your work. Bloody slow in doing stuff. Because she is so damn slow, and she gets nervous easily, people get the misconception that she is really busy. Confront her when she makes a mistake and she can turn it around with an attitude and make it yours. Even though you were just trying to help, she’s always afraid that you’ll take her job away even though she can’t cope at all. She’s jus so incapable, except for the gossiping part. Si bei gan GOOD ah!
Footnote: She’s really the one who pisses me off the most. Cos I truly feel it all started with her. Sometimes, I really feel like slapping her in the face. When I first joined, I really thought she was nice, she even taught me some of the ropes to some things and I thought people jus misunderstood her. Time really tells it all. Whenever she pisses me off, I think this to myself, “Forget it. She’s a 30 something with 40 something wrinkles and skin. She’s STILL not married and she doesn’t even have a stable job. Forgive her.”
Yup. The most ironic thing of all is that she’s just a part-timer. I can see her striving hard to be a full-timer though. I mean, it might just happen. Since she used underhand means to turn herself from a temp to perm. So, nuttin is impossible.
Loud-Lard – Came into the picture the latest. But wow! Already making impacts. This, is an interesting character. When she jus arrived, she was quiet like a mouse. Little did I know, while away from my USA trip, the elephant in her surfaced. Now, she’s the loudest person in the whole office. Trumpeting with her trunk, calls all those above her “Mum” and “Sir” or “Love”. And either ignore those below her and diao them at times or bullies them. She’s really really rude to a harmless colleague of mine, and I have seen her insulting a guy from the other department. He left the office the very next week even though he was new. Wah… Powerful.. She thinks she’s cute with her little actions, loud words with her Hongky accent and boot-lickings. But com’on, I dun consider degrading oneself to a maid, cute. She’s a forgetful person. She forgot who taught her the ropes, she forgot who was nice to her when she first arrived. Now, she turns around and abuse this person with words, and snaps at her whenever given a chance. I really feel sorry for this girl.
I’m not the one. I’m the one she ignores, but if shes not pleased with Kris and me, she doesn’t confront us like she does to chipmunk. She purposely makes loud sacarstic remarks to her OLD gang, making sure that we hear it. And yea, she always complains to our superior about us. She always looks at the time whenever we arrive or leave and peeks/spys over to see what we are doing every now and then. [Figured I would wave at her the next time she does that] Given any chance, she’ll complain to the listener or superior. So fat thought we can’t see ah. Siao!

The Listener – Well, nuttin much about her, nuttin against her. She just listens to her gang members, doesn’t say much. Think shes rather neutral, but I can see her agreeing wif Lard once in a while. Not surprised that she’s brain-washed. Imagine a person complaining about the same people to you everyday. Don’t tell me you wun be affected. It’s rubbish. I know she doesn’t really like us too, but I dun blame her.
Gang of YOUNG
Chipmunk - Always kana bully by…. Everyone??? Including Kris and me. Wahaha… Very blur. Have communication barrier (The kind whereby will stutter when she tok or jus kip quiet on things till u clarify wif her. Tok more will die kind). You are still our fren lah har. Plans to leave... She got long term plan one ok..
Shihui – Leaving
Selena - The Lucky gal gets the priviledge of cross training in another department.
Kristen (temp) – Leaving
Jolene (me: temp too) – Leaving
Conclusion - We are all nice people. The End.
I’m a bitch wat… k lah. I admit Kris and I are not often punctual. But we, team of Young, are damn efficient can. Jus because we use less time and finish the work fast, able to chat and do work at same time. People think we are eng. Wat shit. You are slow not our prob lor. Anyway, without the gang of the young I would have died. We are leaving not because we lost. We are leaving cos we are going for greater heights in life.
No point wasting time over these *Toot* *Toot* people. ROT there u maggots! Wahahaha......
